Painting Technique: Oil painting
Painting style: Exclusive Persian cat painter, Realism
A painter of animals, most importantly of cats, Beno Boleradszky (1885-1957) was born in Gyuro, Hungary and studied at the School of Fine Arts in Budapest.
His most important influence was Zemplenyi Tivadar. Not much is known about him; no pictures or photos available of him. We can guess from his paintings, however, that he was an avid white Persian cat fancier. Almost exclusively painting white Persians, perhaps he was following in the footsteps of the German- Hungarian, Arthur Heyer, who was also known for painting primarily white Persians.
